ROUNDING & ESTIMATING PRACTICE

Rounding is a great way to develop number sense.

Here is a collection of recently-created activities to practice rounding. My goal is a gentle visual approach that ensures success and develops confidence. I see them as helpful tools 1) for remediation, but also 2) for introducing rounding even earlier to the precocious kiddos.

On this page you'll find a small but comprehensive collection of recently-created activities. What I have posted so far is mostly rounding to 10's, but I have a slew of versions started with 100's, 1,000's, etc., as well as decimals and fractions.
